The Jersey City post office building on the corner of Montgomery and Washington has been dedicated the Congressman Frank J. Guarini Post Office.

John Cabot University has named their campus in Rome the Frank J. Guarini Campus. For details and remarks from the dedication ceremony see JCU News.
In October 2000 New Jersey City University (NJCU) renamed their newly renovated and modernized library the Frank J. Guarini Library in gratitude for his generous gift to the University. Guarini's gift was the largest gift on behalf of an individual pledged to the University in its 72-year history. According to Guarini, "The library is the heart of any university. It is the learning and research center for the institution."

The Guarini House on the Jersey City Campus of Saint Peter's College sits on the corner of Montgomery Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard. It serves as the residence for the College President and his family.

Frank J. Guarini received Honorary Doctorate degrees from Saint Peter's College and New Jersey City University both in Jersey City, New Jersey. Additional Honorary Doctorates were awarded by Inje University, South Korea and John Cabot University, Rome, Italy.
He was bestowed the rank of Grande Ufficiale in The Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy and is a member of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
Guarini received from the U.S. Court of International Trade, its annual award "for outstanding contributions to the administration of justice in International Trade Law."
